The Squeeze Course

For consultants, coaches, and practitioners working inside organisations under pressure.

You already know something is off in the room.

This course helps you name it and work with it deliberately.

“The celebration of absurdity… this course makes it safe to talk about it.” (Sr. Consultant, Canada)

Start the Course — CA$249

Youre the One Holding It Together..

When priorities clash, decisions stall, and nothing quite lands

it falls on you to make it work anyway.

Not because you’re in charge of everything.

Because you’re the one who notices when something is off.

That’s not a personality trait. It’s a position.

And it comes with a specific kind of load that doesn’t have a name yet.

This course gives it one.

if You Work With Organizations

This course was built for the room you’re already in.

If you’re a consultant, coach, or OD practitioner, the Squeeze isn’t just something you experience it’s something you observe in every leadership team, every change process, every room where people are performing alignment they don’t quite feel.

This course gives you:

  • A diagnostic lens for what’s actually happening under pressure
  • Shared language you can introduce with clients  without pathologizing anyone
  • A structured way to name contradiction before you try to change it
  • Practical tools you can adapt for team conversations, coaching sessions, or change work

Several of the practitioners who went through the pilot now use elements of the framework directly in their client work.

”Humour… I’ve always used it, but I’ve never seen it as data.”

— External Practitioner/Coach, Australia

“The assessment is helpful and well structured. It helped me gain a new vocabulary for some things I’m experiencing.”

— Internal Leader, International Organization, Switzerland

What You’ll Gain

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, you will be better able to:

  • Slow down a decision before it hardens prematurely
  • Name emerging strain in a way others can engage with
  • Recognize when “we’re fine is masking accumulated load
  • Challenge acceleration language without escalating conflict
  • Move from reactive coping to deliberate adjustment

Course Structure

How it Works

Module 2 - Patterns Under Pressure

Module 1 - What is the Squeeze?

How the Learning Works

The course is designed to be taken in order, but you are encouraged to move at your own pace and revisit modules as needed.

The course is:

  • self-guided and self-paced
  • designed for private reflection and thoughtful inquiry
  • supported by optional prompts for conversation with a trusted colleague or peer
  • intentionally non-cohort-based, with no ongoing facilitation or managed community

This course is meant to support clear thinking, not performance.

Module 1 - What is the Squeeze?

Module 2 - Patterns Under Pressure

Module 1 - What is the Squeeze?

Focus: Naming the experience

This module introduces the idea of the squeeze as a lived experience of contradiction and absurdity, not individual stress or weakness.

You’ll explore:

  • how modern work creates incompatible demands
  • why “just coping better” misses the point
  • how absurd conditions become normalized

What You'll Walk Away With:

A shared language for what you’ve been feeling but may not have been able to name.

Module 2 - Patterns Under Pressure

Module 2 - Patterns Under Pressure

Module 2 - Patterns Under Pressure

Focus: Seeing the system, not blaming the self

Here you’ll learn to recognize recurring patterns that emerge when contradiction persists over time.

You’ll explore:

  • common “patterns under pressure” observed across roles and organizations
  • how people enter these patterns rather than cause them
  • why different people respond differently to the same conditions

What You'll Walk Away With:

Distance, relief, and perspective.

You begin to see the environment more clearly, without pathologizing yourself or others.

Module 3 - Your Squeeze Plays

Module 4 - Reclaiming Orientation & Choice

Module 2 - Patterns Under Pressure

Focus: Understanding your adaptive moves

This module helps you notice how you personally respond when coherence is compromised.

You’ll explore:

  • the idea of squeeze plays as short-term, adaptive choices
  • what you may be trying to protect, preserve, or avoid
  • how your responses make sense given what’s at stake

What You'll Walk Away With:

Greater self-compassion and awareness, without excuses or self-attack.

Module 4 - Reclaiming Orientation & Choice

Module 4 - Reclaiming Orientation & Choice

Module 4 - Reclaiming Orientation & Choice

Focus: Moving forward deliberately

The final module brings the learning together and helps you identify where a small but meaningful shift may be possible.

You’ll explore:

  • what it means to regain orientation
  • how to choose one or two areas to focus on
  • how to approach a conversation, boundary, or decision with clarity

What You'll Walk Away With:

A grounded sense of agency and an outline for next steps that feel realistic and aligned.

Module 5 - Continuing with Clarity

Module 4 - Reclaiming Orientation & Choice

Module 4 - Reclaiming Orientation & Choice

Focus: Choosing how to move forward

This module helps you translate what you’ve noticed into realistic next steps, without pressure to “fix” everything at once. The emphasis is on discernment, support, and maintaining orientation over time.

You'll explore:

  • how to continue noticing squeeze conditions as they arise
  • what support is useful now vs. later
  • how to decide whether a conversation, boundary, or pause is the next step
  • when outside perspective can help you see more clearly

You’ll also be introduced to optional ways to continue the work, including:

What You'll Walk Away With:

A grounded sense of how you want to proceed, and what kind of support (if any) would be most useful next.

Please reach us at Hello@behavingbadlyhq.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

No. It’s self-guided and self-paced — designed for private reflection, not group performance. No live sessions, no required schedule.
